Let's Bee Crafty!

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone...I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful day! The sun is shining, the air conditioning is blasting and life is good! I made a different type of card today, a new style for me. It's called a kick-stand card. I've seen them before, just never ventured to make one, until today!

It's simple really! It just means that the card front is shorter than the back (on purpose!) and your focal panel extends over the edge! Though when lying flat it appears as a normal front panel, ahhh, and there's another little secret on this card! See that small pale yellow ribbon protruding from behind the scallop frame....
...it's a little hidden message! Ok, obviously, I was having fun with this card, but hey, that's what it's all about right? And how could I not have fun with this wonderfully cute image from Bee Crafty!!! I just love it! I paper pieced her with these lovely K&co paper, the hat and bird too! The cardstock is SU! baja and pretty in pink! I added a fun embossed flower and used my square nesties to create the rectangle by layering them to just the right size! The flowers and brad are all twinkly with glitter!
This fun card is going to someone who needs a little encouragement...a reminder to keep looking up...where our help comes from!!! ....where our joy comes from!! ....where our peace comes from!!!

Ok then, let's take a look at the challenges:

Clean & Simple

Yay, it's Tuesday and time for The Digital Tuesday Challenge! This week our lovely hostess is Anjou and she has chosen, Clean & Simple, for the theme! I love clean & simple cards, so this was quite easy for me!

I used one of The Cutting Cafe's printable stamps from the Social Butterfly set! I resized it and positioned it, printing once on my white cs then the leaves a second time on the green DP from MME. A little snipping and gluing and I have this lovely image! I used a MS doily punch and some lustrous black ribbon and the card was done. I almost felt like it didn't take enough time, so I altered the envie a bit!

Dustin Pike is our sponsor this week, with 3 images going to the winner!
I hope you have a chance to play along with us! Remember you can use any digi image and follow the theme, Clean & Simple! Check out my fellow teamies for more inspiration!

Here are the challenges for this card...
Digitial Tuesday Challenge~make a clean/simple card using a digi.
Stamp Something~bugs, butterflies or other winged somethings.
Kaboodle Doodles~use a digi image.
TGIF~use words.
SCS/CAS25~sketch.
The Crafty Pad~something new. My black ribbon is my newest stash...can you believe my hubby picked it out. After receiving a 'frantic' call from me, "help! I need black ribbon!" He stopped at a craft store on his way home from the city and chose this one! He's sooooo awesome!

Ok, I think that's it today....this being my second post and all. Time for the bon bons and the putting up of feet! lol Actually I have a turkey to put in the oven, can you say feast??? Yea, I know it's in the middle of summer, but I have the air conditioner blowing full force and it's cold in here.....a turkey feast is quite fitting! Maybe I'll even feel like making a Christmas card????
Blessings to you all!

Elisabeth Bell Stamps for SCACD-Susan

It's Tuesday and you know what that means...time to have some fun with the SCACD girls! It's the Try It Out Tuesday challenge over @Follow Your Heart, Susana's Custom Art and Card Design store blog!
This week, Suzanne Dean, DT leader extraordinaire has challenged us to make a little gift and matching card! Well, with these new Elisabeth Bell stamps I thought the perfect little gift would be some note cards and I even made a little tote to 'deliver' them to the recipient!
I used the Elisabeth Bell beauty, Susan, honoring our very own DT mate! Hi Susan! {{waving}} She's colored with prisma markers and copics, the DP is BasicGrey's june bug. The scallop oval and the wee swirl are Sizzix dies. The 'tote' is simply a pc of DP folded in from both long sides, then folded in half. Attach a ribbon for a handle and affix sturdy tape! I used the sketch from The Pink Elephant challenge blog! It worked out quite nicely with my design! I hope you can play along with us today! You could use your new EB stamps you ordered during the new release OR you could order them now and probably still play along! lol Susana has the fastest delivery time I'm aware of and that's cross country!!!! Way to go Susana!

So, if you want to play along, be sure to checkout all the TIOT challenge and all the inspiration from the DT over @ the store blog, Follow Your Heart!

If you still need to order these exclusive Elisabeth Bell stamps, or these gorgeous BasicGrey papers or......????? Then hop on over to Susana's Custom Art and Card Design shop!

Would you like to get your hands on some SCACD stamps for free???? I'm talking stamps from any of the many companies Susana carries????

Well, you still have time to participate in the PCP sketch challenge for July! There is a new sketch placed on the PCP, SCACD group page every month....so you have a whole month to play along! Check it out HERE!

OR

You could become the next Spotlight Designer (with benefits!)
The Spotlighter came about as Susana & Suzanne wanted to thank those in our PCP group who actively show up and keep the party going. Interested in joining us???? Click HERE!

Gosh, I hope you were taking notes!!! Lots of good stuff going on...I hope you have a super duper day! Blessings!

A Floral Frenzy!

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a fun weekend and are ready for a new challenge! This week over at the Squigglefly challenge blog we had a sketch to follow, which is quite nice on a Monday morning!

I used one of my very favorite images, floral frenzy, it's so much fun to color. I used pink passion cardstock and DP from a stack with no name...so mysterious, but it all coordinates. Prisma markers were used to add vivid color and eyelets, buttons and glitter to embellish! The green leafy vine is from my neighbors Cricut when I had a playdate, butterflies are Martha Stewart! The run on words sentiment is SU! so many sayings stamp set!

I hope you'll play along....as always, Squigglefly offers Freebies, but they have updated their site again and offer soooo much more! They now have a .99 cent bargain section....and a Last Chance Bin. And don't forget the Squigglefly Rewards! For every $15 you spend in the shop, you get a free image or set - no restrictions!
AND
This is the last week of July that Squigglefly will be donating 50% of all sales in the "Animals" category to the ASPCA. The ASPCA is a humane organization seeking to eliminate cruelty to animals by removing them from cruelty situations and finding them new, loving, forever homes. Check it out...you might be surprised at the images that qualify as an "animal"....like my floral frenzy!

Did you see all the new images added just this past week? Holy bolonga...I'm making a list! I have my eye on some lovely Christmas images!!!!

Here are the challenges that inspired my card...
The Squigglefly challenge~ sketch.
Flutterby Wed.~create a scene.
Cupcake Inspiration~the colors.
Secret Crafter~recipe=3 buttons, 2 DP &1 ribbon.
Daring Cardmaker~on the edge....borders.
Cute Card Thursday~eyelets.
Bee Crafty~summer fun.

We have a busy week ahead, but all good! We start homeschooling in August...when it's too hot to be outside. Then we're done by the time the weather is turning nice again in April! Fun stuff! Blessings!

Elisabeth Bell Stamps for SCACD-Spunkette

Ok, how fun is this???? I am really enjoying these Elisabeth Bell beauties! This little pixie, Spunkette is so sweet! I love glittering her wings!

So did you receive your EB stamps yet? Are you having fun with them....well, we would love to see your creations...there is a Susana's Custom Art and Card Design gallery over on Splitcoast Stampers (SCS) just use the keyword SCACD and we can all enjoy looking at them and be inspired!

Today, I wanted to make a girly girl card. Spunkette, being 'covered' in flower petals was perfect! I colored with prisma pencils and used magenta Shimmerz on her petals. The background is computer generated by Joni Gray...isn't it lovely?! I simply re-sized it for my card and embellished a bit!

If you didn't get your Elisabeth Bell stamps (these are an exclusive line of EB stamps) hop on over to the SCACD store and grab 'em! Susana has a special to save you 25% if you buy the set! It doesn't get much better than that!

The challenges...
Cutie Sunday~ the sketch.
Timeless Tue.~use Shimmerz.
C.R.A.F.T.~ pink & green
Stamp Something~winged things.
Three Clovers~bling.
Papertake Weekly~your choice.
CCEE~summer fun.

Well, we had a big bang to start our weekend! We hosted a 'small group' from our church last night. After more horrible downpours earlier in the day, the sunshine came out and the humidity lifted to make for a very pleasant evening outside around the firepit! We had fun making S'mores (thank you Linda & Dan), chatting and laughing...alot! And, of course, ended the evening (early morning, actually!) with some big fireworks!
Have a super weekend...Blessings!

Fun is....

...a ball of yarn, of course! Isn't this the cutest! This card was created using a magnificent illustration by Maurie J Manning, "Mo" of Mo's Digital Pencil too! Want to see all the other fabulous illustrations click HERE and if you want to chat hop over to Mo's group page at Card Universe....there's some fun going on right now!

This little kitty is Sinatra, I colored him with prisma pencils. The papers are SU! celery and perfect plum, DP is from K&co! The gem brads are SU! and the sentiment CG, I 'blinged' the yarn but it's a bit hard to see. Too fun! I won't say who this card is for because they read my blog, shhhh!

Let's look at the challenges that inspired this card!
Color Throwdown~ the colors.
The Corrosive ch.~the sketch.
Lili of the Valley~animals.
Three Clovers~bling
The Pink Elephant~animals.

My heart today is set on prayers for friends who have had a rough night and a decision-making morning! "Cast all your cares upon me...for I care for you." (1 Peter 5:7) God is faithful!

Emery the Pit Bull!

Good Thursday Morning!
I made a fun little card today....this is Emery the Pit Bull...from Doodle Palace, isn't he cute? I'm playing along with the Doodle Palace challenge #2! Can you believe they gave everyone who played in the first challenge two freebies....how awesome is that!!!!!!

I used prismas to color Emery and pastels to shade the background in teal, the papers, K&co. I really like these colors together! I didn't realize we were to use summery colors with the sketch. oops! But wait...what exactly are summery colors, it's summer now and as I look outside, I see....mud from all the summer showers...I see yellow in all the wheat fields and I see a blue sky now that the showers have passed! Hey, these are summery colors! lol

Here are the challenges...
Doodle Palace~sketch & summery colors!
Paper Blooms~ animals.
Creative Inspiration (wed)~distressing.
The Pink Elephant~animals.
Creative Belli~metal tags......I improvised on this one, I do not have a lot of metal. So I used a METAL brad for the doggy TAG, get it?
And finally, the reason I had those summery K&co papers out in the first place...
My Grafico~brown & teal!

Hope you're enjoying your day! I'm working on a few projects and if I stop ripping them apart and starting over again, I'll show them to you! Today is my friend Lorraine's birthday, be a dear and pop over to her blog with some love! Happy Birthday Lorraine!

Be Comforted...

Isn't this a comforting verse?! It means I don't have to rely on my own inadequacies to do what I'm called to do. And I find that very comforting! PTL! This card will be sent along to someone who needs a little encouragement in these troubled times!

I was playing around with one of Tracey's new images from Fred, She Said...Dancing Daisies set! The scripture was a freebie Tracey offered a while back. And the card just came together! I love that with all the images included in the FSS set, there are ready-to-print sheets. This particular one had four to a sheet, so I already had my extra images for layering! Easy peasy!

Don't forget, you still have time to enter the FRED, SHE SAID challenge....just grab the lovely FREEbie and play along. The prize is ALL the new releases and a $20 gift certificate!

I based my sketch on Carol's Sketch Fun, though I flipped and rotated. Thanks Carol for letting our creativity take it's course! Papertake Weekly let us choose colors from their list and lilac, green and white just happened to be among them! A Spoonful of Sugar wanted swirls, check! And the lovely ladies @Creative Card Crew wanted polka dots, another check! Finally, TGIF gave us the theme~A piece of Heaven to interpert however we wanted, so I did! Thanks ladies for all the creative inspiration you provide!

I'm working on a few projects today and our church picnic is later this afternoon, not sure what time, I'll have to check on that....we wouldn't want to be late....though they never seem to run out of food! I hope you enjoy your Wednesday! Blessings!

Elisabeth Bell Stamps for SCACD

Is this not one of the sweetest images? Oh, how this reminds me of a time not so long ago, when my daughter dressed up like Laura/Little House on the Prairie with her flowered bonnet and sat outside playing! These new stamps from Elisabeth Bell definitely touch the heart!

Well, today being Tuesday, it's time to have a little fun with the girls at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. Suzanne Dean our lovely team leader has challenged us to make a thank you card. One of my favorite type of cards to make! When I don't have an obvious reason to thank someone for....gifts, dinner, favors....it makes me think about the people that bless my life everyday or in 'unsung' ways, they deserve to receive a 'smile' in the mail to make their day!

So for this weeks Try It Out Tuesday challenge at Follow Your Heart, I have made a simple card using Elisabeth Bell's lovely Dolly. I used pastels in just a few colors. The yellow dp is digi paper, the flower is from Fred, She Said.. This ribbon, that matches the paper exactly IRL is from American Crafts and the sentiment is from SU! a retired hostess set.

Now, it might look as though I used a large rectangle scallop nestie, but let's look again. It's really two square nesties overlaped. Go ahead look again, you can even click on the pix to get a close up look and you won't see any little overlap lines! Just one way I like to save money so I can purchase more stuff! lol And speaking of new purchases...Susana just received the new Smooch colors....her store is so full of fun stuff! Of course the newest Basic Grey's are there along with the matching buttons and brads! I love when everything coordinates!

If you'd like to play along with the TIOT challenge, click HERE!
If you want to take a peek at all the affordable goodies at Susana's store, click HERE!

A few other challenges for this card...
Sketch & Stash~the sketch, the stash would be the brand new EB stamp Dolly!
Color Chef~yellow, pink & white.
Banana Split Sunday~Reduce, Reuse, Recycle-I reduced the need for more nesties!
CCEE~Summer fun, Dolly is having a fun time with her doll on a fine summer day! lol

I hope you're having a fun stamping day today...praying much joy over you! Blessings!

Christmas Time in Blogland!

Seasons greeting......though the season might be Summertime! It's time for the wonderful Digital Tuesday Challenge! (and the crowd goes wild!)
This week our lovely Amy has asked us to make a Christmas card! And our fabulous Sponsor is Digital Stamp Oasis.
I've used a Dustin Pike freebie, santa, and gave him a paper pieced pinstripe suit....doesn't he look dapper?! and the nose too...I just haddddd to! The DSP is from SU! rose red. The pointsettia flower is from Fred, She Said. The flowers and leaves are outline form printed on DSP and mellow moss paper. The greeting in the window is an Inkadinkado clear acrylic. I speckled the inside with SU! itty bitty bg and embossed the face with distressed stripes.
That's my Christmas card for this month....the weather's too beautiful to think about snow yet! lol If you need a little inspiration to get your Christmas mojo going, checkout the rest of the DT...

The challenges...
Digital Tuesday Challenge~a Christmas card with a digi!
Delightful Sketches~ their sketch inspired me!
Cupcake Craft~Christmas card
Secret Crafter~spots & stripes
The Creative Belli~texture
Three Clovers~Christmas card
Cute Card Thur~a Christmas card
ABC~w for window
and finally a new challenge for me, Keesh's Inkspiration Colour ch.~the colors.

Well, today at FRED,SHE SAID we're celebrating the release of some fabulous new images and we want you to have a chance to win ALL of them! woohoo!

This little cutie on my card is from the Miss Bitty set...once again Tracey thought of everything...Miss Bitty comes with wings, w/o wings, different dresses, different expressions, ready to print and that's just one set. Let's just say Tracey was really busy! I'm sure you'll be pleased! I used Martha Stewart papers on this one...I'll have more to show you later! My sketch is based on the sketch this week from Sketch Girl! The colors were inspired by the Simon Says challenge to use summer/fruity colors...I chose lemon & lime...ahhh, refreshing!

Now hop over to FRED,SHE SAID and grab your FREEbie and create something fabulous! Checkout the rest of the design team and see what fabulous creations they have to show you!

Fred, She Said Fun, Freebie & a Challenge!

Hi All!
Just a quickie post today with a quickie card and a FUN announcement!

FRED, SHE SAID is hosting a challenge tomorrow, Monday, July 20th! Yep, and Tracey will be offering a digital FREEbie to use. Doesn't that sound fun??? And there will be prizes!!!!

It's all to celebrate the release of some fabulous new images. I love 'em! And you'll be able to hop around the design team blogs and see them in living color! So exciting....so set your alarm clock....the fun starts Monday morning!

So for my quickie card....I used the colors from the angelic ladies over @ The Divine Diva Inspirational challenge, aren't they scrumptious?! The flower is, of course, Fred, She Said and is printed on digital design paper from Summer Driggs (relax collection). The ribbon and button are elements from the same collection! The sentiment is clear embossed.
I really fought myself to not add swirls and more stamping, it's hard to keep a card clean! I believe this qualifies for the OCC challenge to use three different embellies and the All Sorts Challenge is use one of anything.....1 flower (layers don't count its a dahlia), 1 ribbon, 1 button, 1 stamped image, 1 cs., 1 dp, 1 brad........lol, there ya go!

So, remember to stay tuned for fun, a challenge and a FREEbie! Enjoy your Sunday! May the Son shine brightly on you! Blessings!

A Challenge at Doodle Palace!

I really need to stop taking my photos at night in artificial light! I present a card to you today that kinda looks like this one! lol Oh well, I had fun making it and it is for a good cause!

The lovely ladies over at the Doodle Palace are having their very first challenge!!!! (Hi Dee & Robin!) How exciting is that?! Now you all remember how nervous you were during your first challenges so hop on over there and leave 'em some love! lol They have the most adorable images, this one is called morning glories...it's a dream to color! I was even thinking how fun it would be to paper piece this lovely flower! So many ideas so little time! eek!

This is a get well card so I wanted the colors to be vivid and happy. I'm not sure morning glories come in hot pink but it was necessary this time. :) I used my prisma markers. Part of the challenge was to use the Doodle Palace blog colors...green, pink, gold, black and I saw some dk pink....wasn't sure how I was going to fit in the dk pink (though I'm sure the Ladies would have been forgiving!) So I pulled out my ultra shimmery Pearl Ex and 'glam-ed up' the center of the flowers! I used a little swirl stamp to make a frame around the flower panel and CB'd the bottom panel and the edge around my inside sentiment.

I used the Monday Lunchtime Sketch. The Cuttlebug Spot wanted us to decorate the inside of our cards. The challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend was a song title, so I used Seasons in the Sun! Remember that one????? We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun...doesn't that just fit my card, if not it surely fits me!!! lol
I hope you enjoyed this fun one!

Now for the WINNER of THE CUTTING CAFE butterfly downloads............

A Squigglefly Recipe...

Happy Monday!
Are you ready to cook? Here are the ingredients you'll need for the Squigglefly Challenge this week; one (1) oval, one (1) square, some glitter and a ribbon! Easy peasy, right? Well, this really made me think, lol, but that's a good thing!

I'm not quite sure why I used this particular DP, then I had to use the passion pink...which is my least favorite among the SU! pinks, because it matched the DP! I do, however, like my SF butterfly fairy! I Pearl-EXed her wings so they sparkle and shimmer. I popped a leaf and added some swirls to add a little interest! And if that passion pink cs wasn't enough, I used passion pink pastels to shade around the oval...holy bolonga! I'll dedicate this one to my all my friends.....who love pinky-pink things! So there's my oval, a square, turned on it's side and some sparkle & ribbon! Mission accomplished! I hope you have a chance to play along with the Squiggleflies! Need some inspiration, checkout the rest of the team's creations...

Emma says Thank You!

This is my very favorite digi girl, Emma from Fred, She Said! Isn't she lovely?! I always enjoy coloring her dress, but this time I went for the paper piecing with some DP from K&co, what do think?

I had so much fun making this card...summertime is so busy with other things that it was nice to sit and create! Our garden is overflowing nicely with sugar peas, and many beans. I just love pulling an onion or some potatoes out when I'm preparing a meal for my family! Aren't I just sooo Martha Stewart like! lol

Ok, I found a few challenges for this card, so here we go...
Unscripted Sketckes~ sketch.
Simon Says~ paper piecing.
Cute Card Thur~thank you card.
Creative Card Crew~ribbons.
Flutterby Wed.~use a flutter, buttons & ribbon.
Raspberry Ribbons~ribbon and circles (hope my buttons count!)
Color Dare~ pinks, greens & cream.
Papertake Weekly~my favorite things.
Pile It On~3 different embellies (ribbon, flowers, buttons)
Bee Crafty~a digi & things with wings.
How's that for making the best use of my stamping time!

So, those of you that have never used a digi stamp....are you ready to give it a go??? This Emma image is only $2.00! And in the set, you'll receive a READY to PRINT file...print, color, create! How easy is that?! Or print her out on designer paper and try paper piecing!
You should also know that Fred, She Said carries a few different Emmas to choose from along with all their beautiful sheets of digi flowers! And Tracey just posted some new images....I'm so excited!
But wait there's more.....I just love saying that!
There is a new FREEbie up for grabs on Tracey's blog, actually there are quite a few freebies on Tracey's blog! So have a look around!

Well, off I go back to blanching beans and making zucchini bread and cakes and.....lol!
Praying abundant peace, joy and love over you! Be Blessed!

Sweet Treats from The Cutting Cafe!

Ok, this is my favorite cupcake apart from the edible kind! It's from The Cutting Cafe's All About Cupcakes set! I so enjoyed icing this one in flavors of dk brown prisma and E37 sepia copic, it's so lush IRL! The sentiment is also part of this 49 image digital set! Wowzer!! The digi paper is from Ellie Lash!
Well, this card came about as our lovely hostess Paula chose the theme-sweet birthdays-this week for our Digital Tuesday Challenge! Oh, I do hope you can play along!!!

Our sponsor this week is My Grafico! They have so many amazing digital products!!! The winner of this challenge will receive one set of digi stamps!
I used the Dutch Dare sketch by Cathy this week! The colors were inspired by the Color Throwdown. The use of buttons was suggested by Charisma Cardz and The Next Level wanted to see buttons and bows! The Whimsy Stamp challenge was to create a birthday card! Fun stuff!
I hope you have a chance to play along with your digis this week at the Digital Tuesday Challenge, if you need some inspiration please checkout the rest of the DT...

Rubber meets digital Scrapbooking!

And now for something completely different!

This week at the Try It Out Tuesday challenge over at the SCACD store blog, Follow Your Heart, lead DT, Suzanne challenged us to make a scrapbook page! Talk about comfort zones....eek! The only scrapbooking I've done in the last 2+years is digital! Or quick pages, digitally created and printed out. You then flop your picture on, slap it in the book and tah dah your done! I know, I know, all my scrapper friends have a cringe on their faces. Sorry!
So, with this challenge, I thought I would combine the two worlds and use my little Sweetheart-Felicia on this beachy page! This Freebie QP (quick page) is from Les Scraps de Cesspav and Felicia is colored with Prismas! Now I know there are some fabulous scrapping gals out there, I hope you play along with the TIOT challenge this week and show me how it's done!!!! lol I would love to see what you can do, so I'll be checking the Follow Your Heart blog to be inspired by you! You can check out the blog to see all the fantastic creations from the rest of the DT! Have a lovely day! Blessings!

Simply Squigglefly!

Here's a simple single layer card or even a NO LAYER card! Pretty easy peasy but effective! The #9 Squigglefly Challenge is up and calls for a no layer card with one embellishment!
I used this rose image from the Tribal Flourish Set from Squigglefly!
After printing the rose (1 of 9 images), I cut an oval shape from some cs and used the negative to create a stencil/mask. I masked the rose also and used pastels to color inside the oval. Then use Prisma markers to color the rose. Stamp a sentiment, tie a ribbon and tah dah. A lovely thank you card!

This was a great challenge for a Monday, especially a Monday after a festive weekend. I'm still recovering from fun, friends, food and fireworks! Hope everyone had a good weekend also! Only two other challenges for this one, My Time to Craft~no patterned papers and Creative Inspiration~masking! Yea, I know, I'll do better tomorrow! lol
Oh, there's one more thing...

Rewards are Here!

The new Squigglefly Rewards are in place. For every $15 you spend in the shop, you get a free image or set - no restrictions! If you have made a purchase in July prior to signing up, please email-Squigglefly AFTER you sign up and they will credit your July purchases!

A Princess with A Gift...

This Sweetheart comes bearing gifts....
I hope everyone is having a lovely Friday and looking forward to the weekend! I was able to share my morning with a cardmaking friend! {waving} Hi BB!

My card today is for a little princess and I've attached a little charm for her charm bracelet! Can you believe using a charm was actually on a challenge for today? Too fun!

So, let take a look at the card....walk with me...
The image is, of course, one of the lovely Anki's Sweethearts-Victoria, sold exclusively at SCACD! She's wearing a Prisma colored gown with a dazzling diamond insert. Her jeweled necklace is colored with white gel pen because I smudged it with too much pink! lol Hopefully you can see her delicate wings. I allowed them to blend into the background giving an illusion of a butterfly princess! I love these wings, they are so versatile! (and on sale for 50% off right now!)

Since I'm staying with Susana's Custom Art and Card Design team as a guest for the month of July also, I wanted to keep you up-to-date on all that's happening there! Well, first of all, did you see the post prior to this one???

Squigglefly BLOG HOP & my Give-a-way

Welcome to Day 2 of the Squigglefly BLOG HOP! It's soooo BIG, we needed two days! I hope you had a chance to hop around to all the Day 1 Design Team blogs...Squigglefly is picking winners for each day! And many of the DT ladies were offering their own candy/prizes along the way! I'll send you off in the right direction at the bottom of my post so you won't miss anything!
But first I want to show you my card using one of the new Squigglefly images-old barn! Isn't it fabulous? I thought it was drawn beautifully so all I did was tint it before printing it out! I used 'barn red' cs. to imitate barn wood on the background panel. The sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe's 4th of July set. (special offer on them!) I CG the inside words. This will be sent out this weekend to a friend who is a veteran! We can never forget!!!

Now for my blog hop give-a-away....
I made this little note card set using Squigglefly's Floral Frenzy image. So, leave a comment and you'll be in for the draw to receive 3note cards/3 envelopes and some other assorted little goodies/images! I'll choose a name on Friday!
