DTC53-Blue+White+Color

Well, howdy, howdy, howdy! Hope you all had a fabulous Easter holiday!

We have a great challenge to ease you back into creating today @ Digital Tuesday! Our lovely Suzie has chosen a color challenge: Blue, White and one other color! I choose light gray!

Stamps: Squigglefly.com (pie maker)
Paper: Colorbok
Ink: SU! not quite navy on flower
Stash: button, floss, nesties, sizzix,
newspaper, white gel pen (stitching)
assorted silver hdwr, vintage lace

The glass to the right of my card is actually an antique rolling pin. It's a glass cylinder to be filled with ice & water to prevent the dough from sticking! Also in the background is a pewter serving dish we rec'd for a wedding present almost 23 years ago....how old does something need to be before it's considered an antique????

I thought this wonderful vintage image was perfect for a Thank You card for the wonderful Easter dinner my SIL & BIL so generously shared with us!!! What a blessing!!

Checkout the rest of the Digi Tue gals for some inspiration...

I love your card, Maria! The sentiment is so perfect for it. It's going to make a great thank you card for the Easter dinner you had.

It was so interesting to learn about the antique rolling pin. I had never encountered one before in person or in all of my reading.

I've heard that an item has to be 50 years old to be an antique, but I don't know if that's true. I hope so, because that gives me 4 more years before I become one. :)
