How cute is this little fellow? Drawn to perfection by our very own Marlene (Disguised as a Grow-Up)! How cool is that?! It was offered as a FREEbie during a Manic Monday over @ The Digi Shack!

The papers are scraps & SU! cs (cardstock), the ribbon is from my new batch of yardsale finds and the bird border is a Martha Stewart punch! I made the scallop punched edge with a SU! slit punch. The french says, "Just for you" and the stitching is faux!

I thought it worked out great for a masculine birthday card/gift card holder!

We had a sunny day yesterday, but I hardly set foot outside because I'm cleaning up the last (hopefully) of our school paperwork! So much paperwork, ugh!!! I'd love to live in a state, that doesn't care how you "teach" your children! lol PA is very strict with their homeschooling laws, which translates into....lots of paperwork! lol

I'm determined to get outside today, even if it's just to see if my lovely sugar peas are growing the way they should!!! yum!

Since this is my first Christmas card of the year, this is my first opportunity to join in Sparkle's Christmas challenge! I was trying to convey a quilt-like card to compliment "Sew Many Cards", not sure that idea translated correctly! lol My hole punching is in the form of faux stitching! You can fill your punched holes with brads or eyelets or just use your paper piercer, like I did!!!

FSS-A Rose for Mother

TGIF! Welcome to the weekend! I wanted to show you one last Mother's Day card before the day arrives this Sunday!

ABC Toys-It's Time to Celebrate

Happy, happy Thursday! I was playing with some of my Hero Arts stamps today and wanted to share this little beauty!

I wouldn't quite call this a CAS card, maybe BBS...busy but simple! lol

Squigglefly Monday Challenge-bookmarks

Good Monday Morning! Hope you enjoyed your weekend and are feeling quite refreshed for the new week! Can you believe it's May already?!

Today, our beloved Kim has issued a wonderful challenge over @ Squigglefly, make a book marker! I can't tell you how many of our books have bits of paper or tissues marking the places last read! lol Love this challenge Kim!!!!

Isn't this the most adorable mushroom you've ever seen! I love the way Jackie draw this and it was super fun to color. I embossed the white spots so I wouldn't accidentally color out of the lines with my red! lol Plus it gave it a bit of interest, as did the Stickles for highlighting!
