It was actually pleasant yesterday with seasonal temps and low humidity! I gave my air conditioner a little break! I have a meeting this morning, we (me & some of the kids) are helping a local church with their vacation bible school next week. They are doing something really different and I hope the community embraces it! Anyhoo, I've deemed today as my "run around" day, hoping to get all my errands done in one day! Doesn't that sound fun & efficient! lol

I'm getting a late start today! And I didn't get a chance to hangout on the 'puter much over the weekend! I normally have all my posts for the week pre-scheduled so I can spend more time with the kids but that didn't happen this week...yet! lol I hope to get that accomplished today!


With each Monday comes a new Squigglefly Challenge! This week Kim is hosting and has issued a challenge for tent toppers! I used this newly released image from Doodle Pantry! I really enjoyed coloring this Betta fish. I've tried a new way of back shading to make the fishy look popped out a bit...the lazy man's way of doing it! lol Of course, Laurie's image are drawn with such detail & skill, they look good no matter what you do to them! lol

You will definitely want to check out the rest of the Belli girl's creations! Where I used an image that "moves" (fish constantly move, don't they?) some of the other gals created projects that actually move!!! I'm so humbled to be part of this team!!!

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere

We are dancing in the streets today! (ok, maybe it's more like dirt roads than streets but...) It RAINED overnight!!! Not bunches, but at least it rained!!!!

okey dokey, that's it for today! We all went out for a fun breakfast this morning...yummy homemade sticky buns; warm & sitting in butter! not too healthy but totally heavenly! Now I have to do a bit of cleaning and start the spare ribs...hubby's hungry for BarBQ ribs today! another yum!

Creative Belli Challenge - altered item

Happy Wednesday! We're having a heatwave a tropical heatwave! Is it HOT where you are? ugh! Better stay inside and stamp, huh? lol

We have a new Creative Belli Challenge for you!!! We are altering an item we have laying around the house! I decided to get a head start on Christmas gifts (that's why I used darker colors, not summery colors) This is a gift set with candle & 4 matching note cards.
