Creative Belli DT CALL

CREATIVE BELLI CHALLENGE DESIGN TEAM CALL! We are looking to add some talented stampers to join our team for the first 2011 term, which runs January 1-June 30, 2011.  ANY stamper, scrapbooker or papercrafter is welcome to apply!

Requirements:
~You must be able to follow instructions on time and work well with others. 

~Check out the participants blogs and comment please. 

~Post your work with the weekly code to other Forums you are participating in and comment in those areas too.

 ~ You may "miss" 3 challenges out of the 6 month commitment.
~Participate in each Bi-weekly Challenge and upload your project to the Belli blog no later than the Sunday evening before the Challenge Week. 

~Post a permanent DT banner on your blog
~Join the DT Yahoo Group (our sole means of communication) ~ You MUST have a blog and be posting regularly.

Please create a card for your favorite challenge  in your best work and send it (100kb or less each) to chrissyd723@gmail.com by December 15th. Please use BELLI DT Call as your subject line. You may use any stamps you have. Be sure to include your full name, address, email address, and a link to your blog.

PLEASE NOTE: previous DT experience is not necessary.

We will not be able to respond to each submission. If you are chosen, you will hear from us by December 16. We will post the NEW members of the Design Team on December 20th

Creative Belli -Fluffy Stuff

Happy Wednesday!

At Creative Belli, we like to encourage you to use what you have.  We probably all have some stash gathering dust; stash that we don't pull out until a challenge comes along that encourages us to go 'spelunking' (cave exploring)!

The kids always say I'm going spelunking when I start to dig into my handbag!  lol  ...but that's another challenge..

Anyhoo, our challenge this week is to use flocking or our Flower Soft (real or faux) and create something fabulous!

Creative Card Crew - Punch It!

It's time for another fortnightly challenge @ Creative Card Crew!  "Punch It" is always a fun theme, as so many of us use one type of punch or another with every card we make!   There is a wonderful prize up for grabs this time too, Fred She Said is sponsoring for the next two weeks!!!

• I used my regular handheld hole punch to punch around my scallop circle nestie die cut for a fun new look. 
• The small orange dots were punched with a crop -a- dile.  I put a drop of SU! crystal effects on each for a 'faux' brad look...they look a bit more 3D IRL.
• The fabulous dyed seam binding ribbon is from Mary Duffek of Moe Joe Designs...she has an Etsy store with delicious little affordable goodies!!  yum!

Whooo, talk about a quick & easy birthday card!  I'm sure I'm the only one who makes b'day cards MINUTES before leaving for a birthday party!  lol

I simply printed the sentiment on cs & the image on my orange dp.  Cut out the balloon image and adhered it, drew 'strings' and adhered a bow!   BAM! Done!   Sweet card, huh?

This is an experimental card!  lol  I wanted to use a more elegant design with a whimsical image.  And also try combining white & off-white!  I'm very pleased with how it turned out.   Seems anything goes with everything in art!    What are you're thoughts?

I just received this adorable Sophia stamp this morning and had to ink her up!  Thought she would look great in a pink "Olivia" dress!

I used a circle punch to make the big scallop border.

Enjoy...this beautiful autumn day!

Happy Thursday!

Well, after many days of rain, the sun has returned!   Not complaining about the rain, we prayed for it and "it was good!"   Our grass was brown & crunchy most of the summer!   Some of our trees were even starting to change colors due to lack of water.   But today is a sunny, glorious autumn day....in celebration I made a quick card this morning!

I used a Fred She Said pre-colored image, Emma in the Leaves and combined it with this fun paper I purchased over the weekend!  (it was on clearance!)

Isn't this a fun design?  I had it 'sketched' on a piece of paper since last year giving credit to Amber Hight's blog.  I love the traditional Christmas colors here.  I can't believe I'm finally getting in the mood for Christmas cards...good thing too, it's less than 3 months away!  Our temps have really fallen this week.  Last night it was only 10 degrees above freezing.   Yay!   That means the smell of wood smoke is not far off now!  lol
