more Child-ish wisdom

.
Happy, happy weekend!

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood, the temps are rising and the friendly stray cat has shown up once again at my door.   My mother gave us some cat food, so we now have a little bowl for him.  He certainly is a sweetheart and I find it hard to believe he's never been an indoor cat.   The children take turns loving on him, then he falls asleep on the rocking chair beside the woodstove.  He's quite content there too!  By late afternoon he meows to go out and off he goes!     I think we now have a cat!

"The quickest way
for a parent
to get a child's
attention
is to
sit down
and
look comfortable!"

Stamps: Baby Bud Designs© digi (Owie)
sentiment: CG
Papers: Brazzill cs, SU! kraft cs, MME dp
Ink: Copic & Prisma markers
Other: SU! slot punch, piercing tool,
Dress It Up micro mini buttons.

Is this not a TRUE statement???  It rang very true in our home when the kids were younger.  The only way I found to stay sitting was to have a wonderful book to share with them!  So we read quite often!  lol

Some of the regular readers here might remember some other "Child-ish" wisdom cards I created recently with the darling Baby Buds!   They are so much fun to work with, I'm slowly creating a set of cards to be given as a gift.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, you made me smile!
Enjoy your weekend!
Blessings!

Such a sweet little card Maria, a set of these will make a beautiful gift for someone. Lucky little kitty getting to sit next to the woodstove in the rocker, sounds bliss! Oh and i never entered my ants card into the doodle pantry challenge as I had already entered a card into it and I think you can only enter once. Enjoy the rest of your sunday. Hugs Donna x
