4/1 A few of my favorite things!

Happy Friday!   Happy April 1st!

I thought I would share some of my favorite things with you today!

**Since this is predominantly a cardmaking blog, we'll start there.  My most favoritest carding stash, KRAFT Cardstock!
Stamps: Fresh Brewed Designs (love mug)
sentiment: Hero Arts
Paper: SU! kraft cs, BasicGrey dp
Other: bakers twine, fiskar scissors

**Have you been introduced to Pinterest yet?  it's too fun!  Basically as you surf the web, you can grab any photos that might interest you or ones you want to remember and "pin" them to your pinboards on the Pinterest site!  What I really love, Pinterest not only saves the photo but also the website source.  No more forgetting where you found a cool idea!
If you would like an INVITE, just let me know.

**Whether you're a homeschooler or you just enjoy reading a great book with your kids, I highly recommend any of the Holling C. Holling books.   One of our very favorites is Pagoo!

The text & pictures definitely hold the children's attention!  This is one I would find the kids sitting on the floor looking at even when we weren't 'doing school'!

**I have so many favorite books, as I'm sure many of you do!  Each seemed so important to my well-being and sanity for the different stages in my life!   Anne Ortlund's, The Gentle Ways of the Beautiful Woman, was a life-saver for me.  It helped me gain control when life seemed a bit overwhelming with 4 young children!

**One last thing, since we're on the bookshelf; a great resource for buying books.   Alibris.com  If you sign up for their newsletter, you'll receive coupons!  I've found so many bargains there, it's the first place I visit for buying books, even before Amazon!

Have a wonderful day!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

You will probably find this shocking, but I don't think I have a single piece of kraft cardstock. I'm not sure what to do with it!

I, too, love kraft paper. It is so versatile and fun! and AWWE! you used a FBD stamp to grace the front of your beautiful card ;)! I also love the twine you used. Gorgeous

I have never heard of Pinterest, but am intrigued. Thanks for the book tips as well. I look forward to checking them out, especially the gentle ways of the beautiful woman.

Thanks so much for this post!
I hope you and your family have a beautiful and blessed weekend.
