Each day is a gift!

.

The floodwaters have arrived!
Here's our little creek over-running its banks...

which led to the run raising about 4 feet to flood its banks....

the run is that white spot under my watermark.
which led to our little road being flooded!

Enough with the gloomy weather news, I have a pretty little card to show you.

Stamps: SU! (refuge & strength set)
Paper: SU! cs, BasicGrey dp
Ink: Memento pad
Other: paper doily, dyed seambinding,
MS pearls, extra-fine glitter,
Cricut (Storybook, page 66, Marquee1 & frame)

I love this vintage-y BG paper, Curio, it's so lovely!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Praying for all those experiencing flooding in their homes and those unable to return home due to road closures.
Blessings!

I'm also in flood central, so your pictures look all too familiar, unfortunately. Hope you and your family are doing well despite this mess. Adorable card, though! That paper is one of my faves and I love the ribbon you paired with it. Very chic!

Praying that the weather clears up for you quickly and the creek is able to recede. My heart goes out to everyone affected by the recent storms and excessive rain.

Moving on to your cheerful creation...this card is gorgeous!!! Then again, everything you create inspires me. I love the beautiful colors, the lovely sentiment and your wonderfully tied bow. Another masterpiece, Maria!!!

Carolyn
