It makes my heart happy when I can use scripture on my cards.  Laurie has created a series of  lovely Holy Land flower sets with accompanying scriptures, such a this mustard flower with the mustard seed verse.  See all the sets HERE!

It's a bright sunny Sunday here in PA, though the temps are dropping as I type and snow storms are in the forecast for this coming week!  yay!   Can't believe we made it through January with hardly any snow...but with the end of this month, comes the end of that dreaded year end paperwork.  We are finally finished with it!  It has kept me away from my beloved computer & all of you far too long!  Looking forward to getting back into my crafting & blogging routine.

Need a mojo boost?

I'm determined to used my supply of stash this year, it's definitely one of my resolutions.  I had specific supplies in mind this morning and just couldn't think of a color combo I wanted to use.  Then I remembered this fun little 'machine' from Stampin' Up!

You pick your color, push a button and it gives you tons of combos!

It gives you Stampin' Up! colors, of course, but you can use it as a starting point for any color you might have to work with!

I'm learning to surf!!!

The Digital Tuesday challenge this week is tropical warmth...which some of you need right now if you're buried under snow drifts!

We had a somewhat harsh weekend, so glad it's over, but it ended well with the football playoffs!  So happy the Steelers are playing the Jets and not the Patriots!  lol   Though it was really hard to see New England defeated!  This next weekend promises to be better...we have a wonderful birthday to celebrate and hopefully see the Steelers going to the Superbowl!

Warning...you may get glittery from this post...and the last two!  lol   I been playing in the glitter for the last few days, you can probably imagine what my work area looks like!   Acutally, it makes me happy when I sneeze glitter...I find it somehow magical!

This certainly could be used as a Valentine's Day card, with a change of the word...but I needed some encouragement cards...I'm hearing so much sad news around me this year already!

Christmas Birds 2011

Happy, happy Friday!

I feel as though I should keep a count for Christmas cards 2/1,000,000!  lol  I still haven't put my Christmas papers away, can't believe I'm having more fun making Christmas cards now then I did last month...no pressure, for one thing!  lol

Well, we actually have snow today!  We are sooooo doing the happy dance!  It's only about two inches, but we're celebrating because it might be the only snowfall this season!  lol  We're usually the "clear" spot on the weather maps in South Central PA!

Christmas 2011! A head start!

Happy Monday Morning to ya!

Are you ready to get back into the swing of things?  I enjoy my rountines, though today I have something very out of routine to share with you!

I'm finally going to try to play along with these weekly Christmas card challenges this year!  So here is my first Christmas card for 2011!

I haven't heat-embossed for a while and it felt gooood!  I have admired Verve Stamps but never had the time to play with them...but this year I'm going to make time to STAMP again!   I even used another sketch today, the Verve sketch over on SCS!  

Wanted to mention a new Christmas challenge blog too...

We really enjoyed the holiday times with friends & family!  I have such a grateful heart for all the blessings in my life!  Thank you all for adding to that joy!
