Sew Easy Stamping Technique! (3/30)

Do you sew?   I really enjoyed sewing once upon a time, even have a box load of fabric.  I'll have to whip something up and show off my hidden talent!  haha

I created this focal point by using my 'intact' stamp set as a stamp.  Used my cuttlebug plate for my clear mounting block.  how fun is that?!

We've been busy with homeschooling paperwork these past few weeks.  I've kept up better this year, but Pennsylvania is one of the stricter states regarding homeschool laws; paperwork, record-keeping, portfolios, evaluations!  ugh!  Oh well, school will wrap up for us by the end of April.  Then we'll have a chance to relax a little!

I found this SU! dsp (designer series paper) in a nice little package, barely opened.  I think it was a hostess gift, maybe?!   Glad I found it, these colors make me smile!

I made this card for the Taylored Expressions Grand Opening Challenge the other day @ SCS!  Taylored Expressions just recently became part of  SCS Member Companies!  yay!   Taylor was so generous as to create a few digis from her stamp lines so everyone could play along with the challenge!

My naughty printer spit ink again, on the girl penguin, fortunately it was just the right place for a little heart!  haha   how's that for a fix!

Thinking Aloud....and a free printable list!

Happy Monday!

Gosh, it's so hard for me to wake up on a Monday morning.  I have so many plans for the day, in my mind, but I always end up with more plans than day.   I'm a list person, and love my 'to do' lists, so when I saw these fun print-outs this morning on one of the 2000+ blogs I follow, it was just what I needed to get motivated.   Sure I have tablets of lists, probably a handful of saved sites for lists, but these were right there in front of me ready to print so I went for it!

Free Printable To Do Lists...just a cute pdf with three columns from Ash & Anchor.   easy peasy, and I filled up mine already!  haha

Isn't life busy?  Wow, I'd really like to know how everyone else keeps up.  I do what I can and try not to feel too guilty about not being everything to everyone!    A while back, I felt the Lord give me a wonderful way to simplify my life, five areas that I needed to attend to.  It really has taken the stress out of our lives, even during some big life changes we endured over the past two years.  Maybe I'll share some about that later.    Right now, I'm off to check my list....

Ooo, one more thing!  Has anyone read Dave Ramsey's book Total Money Makeover????   I keep hearing about it and wondered what you thought?

I did see a funny card the other day and almost CASEd it.   It used the ever-popular sentiment on the front, "A little birdie told me...it's your birthday" and the inside had a grinning cat with the sentiment, "but I ate him!  Your secrets safe with me."   totally cracked me up!     What a wonderfully creative bunch you all are, you inspire me!!!

I whipped up this beauty this morning in about 15 minutes!  I absolutely LOVE the digi paper Laurie included in this Iris set!   The 'perfectly-placed' pearls cover the ink my naughty printer spit out onto my paper....bad printer!!!
