Good Monday Morning!

I'm dreaming of a white halloween??....yep, we had a snow storm over the weekend.  It was rather beautiful to see, though unheard of this early in the season.  Lost power a few times, it was awesome!  Wonder if it was a pre-cursor for the weather to come...we can only hope! lol

Paper Playtime has issued a fun week long challenge today and I hope you'll play along.   It's an anything goes challenge.   I created a fun treat bag.

I was inspired by a Frankenstein treat box in the Oriental Trading catty!  what a fun place to find craft ideas!  Though I've seen many versions throughout blogland!  Isn't he cute?  good way to use up your scraps too!

I'm adding this to my Cricut Basics 'series'.  It was made using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, which is probably one of the carts included with your machine!  Easy peasy to make and such a fun project!

What a week, ugh, I think I'm actually staying home today....all day!  lol  I finally had a chance to collect the names for my 'pumpkin' candy draw from our Mother Goose blog hop.

Thought this was a cute way to use this image for thanking a hostess for a wonderful holiday meal!



Even though my kiddos are older, every year I bring out this Thanksgiving favorite for anyone willing to read it!  It has made a 'memory' in our home!

It's a fun little story geared to young children, but it always makes me giggle!  ...Mr & Mrs Moose would like to have Turkey for dinner, so off Mr Moose goes to find & invite Turkey to their holiday meal.  Turkey, as you can imagine, misunderstands and the adventure begins!

I have been wanting to use one of these rosettes for some time now.  I tried making them and for some reason I could not get the hang of it.  Then Susan @ Cricut and Grasshopper came to my rescue!  I watched her video and copied her thumb action!  lol  yay, victory, so I quickly created this card, isn't is pretty?  too fun!  Thank you Susan!

The Mother Goose Blog Hop & some Blog Candy!

I attribute my fondness of pumpkins to reading Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater as a child.  As I recall, I even wanted to live in a pumpkin house when I grew up!    Of course I don't live in a pumpkin now, but I have my great room decorated in autumn harvest & pumpkins year round!
