This is my very first attempt creating a paper bag card...too fun, I'm sure I'll be making more!
The DIVAS are hopping today! It's our monthly "Oldies but Goodies" blog hop where we challenge each other to dig into our stash to use something six months or older.
I used quite a few Cricut cuts throughout. The flower is layered paper bag paper (from another bag), cut, wrinkled and sprayed with my bronze *DIY Shimmer Mist, which also added a bit of stiffness to hold in the wrinkles!
I included a gift card holder in the paper bag pocket, the bottom flap. And a cardstock blank that fits neatly in the bag opening!
"The more side roads
you stop to explore,
the less likely that
life will pass you by."
*DIY Shimmer Mist- in a mini spray bottle from Walmart ($1), I mixed a bit of Pearl-Ex powder with some hairspray. A little goes a very long way. Shake it well before each use.
If you're hopping with the DIVAS, you should have arrived here from Linda's lovely blog @ Payne Holler Cards. If you need to start at the beginning of the hop, you'll want to hop back to Sue's beautiful blog @ Sue's Sentiments.
Your NEXT stop is Cindy's sweet blog @ Stamp with Me! Enjoy all the gorgeous inspiration!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
