Lemonade Inspired, using CRI-Kit pens & Tim Holtz inks!

Sunday Greetings!

My Cricut Craft Room's Erica has gathered some creative Lemonade Lovers together for a fun hop, letting our love of this refreshing beverage inspire us!

Here are my projects...

I used Tim Holtz distress inks and my CRI-Kits black pen to
create this CAS card.

If life gives
you lemons...

Inside reads:

...make lemonade.

However,
make sure life
gives you
sugar & water
too
or your
lemonade's
gonna suck!

The lemons were drawn by my Cricut using
CRI-Kits black pen, the paper & ribbon were hand dyed

I used my CRI-kits glitter pen in my Cricut
to draw the top layer of my leaves.  The glitter
is fabulous IRL!!

We make a really simple recipe of lemonade.
Mix one cup of lemon juice & one cup of sugar into two quarts of water!  That's all, but it keeps us happy all summer long!

and don't forget the lemon squares!  Can you say too much powdered sugar?!  lol  yum!

So, if you're hopping with us today...
you should have arrived here from Amanda's amazing blog.
If you need to start at the beginning for all the details,

Your NEXT stop is the lovely Dena!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Blessings!

Here's the hop line up...

What a fabulous card, Maria! Love the CAS design and all the white layers. The washed yellow paper with the lemons is fabulous. I don't know anything about cricket's using pens, but this is amazing! Really love your hand-dyed ribbon, too!

Your projects are very cute. You and I have a lot in common. I also live in a small town, and just finished homeschooling my last child. We homeschooled all 4 of our children. My husband is the pastor of a small Baptist church in southern Utah. When people ask me what I'm going to do with my "free" time (whatever that is), I answer with one word: CRAFTS!

Love this sweet and simple card Maria! Thanks for the lemonade recipe - will definitely be trying that! And I don't think there is such as thing as too much powdered sugar on lemon squares - yummy!

I love lemon bars and those looks so yummy.
I love the look of the black and yellow. I like how you used the pens on your card instead of the actual cuts. Great idea.
Thanks for sharing your great idea.
