Happy Saturday!!!! We are surrounded by mud today...rain, rain go away! I so wish I had better lighting for photos!! The Digital Ink Co. is had their very first challenge this week and even gave us this lovely poppy to play with...how cool is that?!
I totally had fun making this card and watercoloring the poppy! I used K&co and SU! papers, faux stitching, my MS punch, and my CM cutting system to do the 'outta of the box' technique. The tangerine strip is CB'd and sponged, sentiment from SU! so many sayings. I really like these colors together!I had to use this multi layer sketch I saw over at Create 4 Fun and the color challenge from Lili of the Valley. Crafty Creations wanted us to use embossing while Lots To Do encouraged us to watercolor. Yes, you can watercolor digis! I added the stitching, which I think really finishes a card nicely, for the wonderful Whimsy Challenge and Created by Hand challenge. The Ooh La La theme this past week was floral fantasy and Die Cut Dreams was orange and brown. There are just so many fun challenges out there to encourage our crafting, I can help but play along!!!
